corny regulator
can anyone link me to a good corny regulator? most of the ones i've seen got up to 100 or 200 psi on the keg dial so dialling in low psi for serving is hard.

Re: corny regulator
You are unlikely to find one fitted with a low-range pressure gauge. It's easy to change the gauge for a suitable one (0-30psi or 0-60 psi etc), they cost £3.75 on ebay.
I bought one like this:

And this (check your thread size, and select the range you want):

Re: corny regulator
It will have some sealant on it, just use a spanner and gently nudge it. On the new one put some ptfe on the tread before you fit it.

Re: corny regulator
tried spanner with all my strength, although i don't have a vice i can put it in, so have to hold the regulator in one hand and the spanner in the other. good idea on ptfe tape i'll do that don't want to waste all my gas.

Re: corny regulator
fwiw it took a 30cm adjustable wrench fitted snugly on the nut hex and a 4ft steel tube lever to break the seal on the co2 in hose i needed to replace on my reg.
an easier option is to use a JG Y or T fitting to break off the outside of the reg and fit a 2nd gauge with a more beer friendly gradient on its scale.
