No it's these

I tried the Das Helle last year and its an ok lager, not tried the wheat beer yet. Their normal wheatbeer, schofferhofer, they have for £1.25 is pretty good, not flip top though

For some reason Aldi are not selling this beer in Scotland, altho they have in the past. I'm told the wheat beer is pretty good.

The Altenmunster is a pretty decent wheat beer . . . I bought two cases of bottles
Found they had beer in them

Just got a half dozen to try out. Anyone know if this is a one off or will they have them all the time?

It's just seasonal I think
They had a schwarzbier for the lat two years instead of that wheat beer, it was quite nice

Re: Grolsh type bottles at Aldi
They seem to do this offer every September but I think this is the first year they've included a wheat
Re: Grolsh type bottles at Aldi
Thought I'd just add to this post as I found these bottles of beer with the flip top at Aldi again this weekend at £1.79 each. As I'm just getting back into home brew again but looking at bottling rather than using a keg, these will come in handy for me.
Re: Grolsh type bottles at Aldi
My LHBS sell these flip top bottles for £1.50 ish so even if the contents are mediocre (they are nothing special) then it is still a pretty good deal as these bottles are not widely available here.
The Schwarz dark lager was the best of the bunch for me.

Agree with anthonyuk, the best of the three is the dark lager. Wheat second. Kev.

Re: Grolsh type bottles at Aldi
I actually think they are reasonable examples of the style. The naturtraub was the best for me, the wheat is okay but not outstanding and the schwarz better than the helles.
