Crusader spear removal

Anyone know someone on here that makes the spear removal tool for the 20 litre crusader slimline keg? I think he was called barneey.?

Or use a basin spanner, such as from Toolstation

Yes I used to make them up but its far easier to make them in batches of 3 or more, so unless there is demand I cannot see myself making anymore up.

However anything can be used which will fit between the two lugs and which you can turn, even a simple piece of metal and a pair of pliers will work, members have even wedged a spanner between the two lugs and turned said spanner with pliers (pump pliers / welding pliers or the like)

The basin spanner tends to be a bit rough on the lugs on the spear thats why i want the tool for them

Not experienced that myself, but fair enough. Just be careful not to over tighten the spears.
