I would like to make a Guinness clone and bottle from a corny using a beer gun. I'd be interested to hear if anyone has successfully bottled beer from a keg which has been conditioned with a nitrogen and carbon dioxide mix? I just wondered if excessive foaming would be a problem?
The lowest temp I can get my beer fridge down to is 3C.
Has anyone bottled from a keg carbonated with N2O/CO2?
Re: Has anyone bottled from a keg carbonated with N2O/CO2?
I think the beer is only carbonated with CO2. The nitrogen is only present when serving. However, I could well be wrong.

That's also my understanding

Thanks for the replies. I won't be doing that then

Do they really use nitrous oxide to serve beer? I assumed that they used plain old nitrogen.

I was hoping you could use Nitrous, as I can buy little bulbs of that. I've got one of those tap-a-draft things, and was hoping to add some nitro creaminess to my smoked porter.
