Quick fixes for a leaky cornie?

Post by Bazz » Sun Oct 23, 2016 11:33 am

Hi, I kegged my latest brew on Friday and I seem to be having a problem with both the in and out posts letting by, the out is leaking beer (when under pressure) and the in is leaking CO2, both from the little poppet valve bit. For now i'm keeping both disconnects in place to minimise losses but this Is lesss than ideal as at force carbing pressure (30 psi) the tap on the outlet is still dripping a little.

Does anyone have any quick fixes, bearing in mind that the keg is full?

Thanks.

McMullan

Purge the pressure, remove posts, clean, lube and replace, not much tighter than by hand.
