Cheap Temperature Controller For Kegerator

Post by floydmeddler » Wed Aug 23, 2017 7:34 am

Hey folks,

Came across this when searching for a temp controller for my kegerator. Only need to control the fridge function. Would this do the trick? Looks OK to me.

Cheers!

I'm sure it would be OK but you'd have to change your plugs or make/use an adapter. Probably not UK compliant so could invalidate any insurance.

A UK Inkbird is <£25 - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Inkbird-Temper ... 018K82UQU/

If you can wire a plug you may as well get an STC-1000 from Ebay for £9 delivered from a UK seller or £7 from China if you don't mind waiting a couple of weeks. Put it in a sandwich box or buy a project box for a fiver.
I brew therefore I ... I .... forget

Hey Vacant. I have an STC for it already but I can never seem to find the time to work on it. Baby/work etc. Maybe I should just go for it. sandwich box would be very quick.

Hi Floyd,

I have an Inkbird 308 I was about to advertise. It is a few months old and is as new but I have now built a control panel for my 3 fridges, built in to thb e bar I'm my man cave.

I can post it to you for £18 (bank transfer or PayPal personal payment) if you fancy it. If not, I will open it to others. I a am off on my hols on Friday so be quick unless you don't mind waiting a couple of weeks!

Drop me a line.

Matt

I have an inkbird as well. So simple and easy to use. Would definitely recommend it.

Cheers Digby. Lovely offer. However, I've decided to go for the STC 1000. Just think it'll look cool on the collar.

Enjoy your hols!
