Lost a whole tank of co2 due to a faulty fibre washer between the bottle and regulator. Always worth changing every tank fill and spraying a soapy solution on to the joints to check for leaking.

Now I always turn the gas off if I have no cornies to gas up. Makes me sleep easier!

Co2 is the only pain with kegging. Difficult to get hold of

Just the sort of disaster that haunts my imagination, so backed by paranoia my "primary" regulators have gas solenoid valves (commonly used in aquarium circles) controlled by a "delay off" switch which also controls the liquid solenoid valves on the beer taps.
You want to know about paranoia? I'm a master.

"Low bar"? You mean one when lying on your back you can easily catch the dribbles? Or … (still lying on your back) you can easily reach the bar towel and stuff it in your mouth?

I was looking at the used Redditch ones for a while with a guage but honestly the Micromatic mini ones are fine.
