Please help

Post by Funtimephil » Sun Apr 26, 2020 8:07 am

Hi everyone, I'm new to all this so very much still learning. I have some beer in a bag bitters and ciders and I have a vitop adaptor so I can connect it to a hand pull. I have acquired a hand pull but I'm unsure what I need now. On the back is the piston with a large screw thread at the bottom, about 3cm in diameter, what do I need to buy that screws on the bottom of the piston that allows me to connect 10mm pipe from that to the bag.

Also will the inside of the piston need cleaning? Is it a case of running solution through and if so, any recommendations?

Thanks in advance

Try here. Yes you will have to clean through. Purple Beer line cleaner is the stuff to search for. You might look at soaking it in a suitable cleaner from here first.

There might be other threads, but the inlets for mine are 3/4" BSP. ... -inlet-kit ... tails.html

Use beer line cleaner for both lines and engines. It is sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite solution.
