Hi guy's,
Thought I would get into this brewing lark, initially for the cheaper beer! but seem to caught the bug
I was a bit stummped on my first brew.. then stumbling on the wealth off information you guys provide.. now know my life is saved!
The problem I am having is when I should remove my brew to the utility (in my office as a door stop atm) it's been 19 days since I started the brew (homebrew kit with top kingkeg) and reading your forums it's now I should be thinking of removing it into a cooler place (my utility) so today I drew off some and tested the clarity (cloudy) and Gravity (1016). There was not alot of pressure, so I added a CO2. The question I need to ask are:
1, Am I on the right track? and should I put it in a cooler place now?
2, Is the clouding a problem? or will the cooler temp sort it?

Thankyou in advance, I have taken advice from your forum "eggheads" and purchaced a brew bucket which I will start from in the future.. also I think I will go down the route of having a "Electrim 75 Immersion Heater"
so I can complete my batch in the utility at all time (room not heated)
This will please my wife!""
any replies are welcome

Slart.

Thanx for the quick responce, I have moved it somewhere cool and redone all the seals. The CO2 valve seems to leak right away when regasing.. ? the small cylnders seem to small for the valve, the rubber "O" ring/valve seems to large? maybe supplied the wrong size C02?.
But good news is, it smells like beer! and has a good head when I took some off.. hopefully all will be well now.
Thanx again.
