John Bull Master Class Stout

Hi All, Ive jsut started with the home brew and have tried both a wine kit and a beer. The beer is a john bull master class stout. The specific gravity reading after 9 days is 1015. I am not sure if this is ready for bottling or not. There has been no activity for a couple of days now but i thought the reading a little high. What do you experts have to say on the matter?

Thanks for the advice DaaB. The instructions dont actually give a final reading, they just say bottle when the reading is the same for two days continuous.

FWIW, when I did this kit it ended up at about 1013.

Very nice it was too! 8)

Personally, I put 1 tsp per pint in - but I like a little more carbonation than usual as I decant into a pitcher before pouring into the glass. 1/2 tsp per pint is normally sufficient.
