Bugger. Fermentation stuck at 1020, So I've pitched another sachet of safale 04. Should I try and gently stir up the sediment as well?

I started a "muntons gold old english bitter" last Sunday and noticed they recommend (paraphrased) "a secondary fermenter, transfer 2-3 days after vigorous fermentation to avoid yeast bite".

Now I'm confused. :?
