My Muntons Gold Old English Bitter has stopped bubbling and last two days SG reading has beein 1018 :(
Started 30/12/07
Kit plus 1kg english bitter converter. Supplied yeast rehydrated and pitched at 25C. Sachet Muntons Premium gold yeast sprinkled on top too.
OG 1060.

I gave it a rousing yesterday as there had been no action for days. Nothing has changed today. No airlock action at all. Is this stuck or has it fermented out?

Sounds finished to me or at least close enough for government work.

70% apparent attenuation is not really too bad, it could be finished . . . Give it a few more days though

I've just re-read the kit instructions and they say it will finish about 1014. So 1018-which it still was at this morning when i bottled, is only a couple of points of and i added a kg of bitter converter. 8)

Tastes great already!!

The colour in my brown PET bottle's looks not too dissimilar from my IPA. Which was fab. Wish there was more than 1 bottle left as the last few days it's got better and better. :(

I'm quietly expecting this to overshadow my previous brews. 8)
