Hi folks!
I've made kit. The first fermentimg works for 4 days and went from 1040 to 1012. In 4 days!
After these 4 days it didn't go further down. After 6 days I opened the fermenter, put some yeast-fit on top and stirred it gently.
But nothing happends until noe, day 7.
Two questions:
Is it OK than? The instruction leaflet says it has to go down to 1010.
Now, with trying to start the fermenting again and nothing happens I wonder, if there is enough sugar and/or yeast left for the second fermentation in the keg or in bittles. Is there anything to do to besure the second ferm will work in the bittle and/or the keg (I want to fill two big bottles and the rest in the keg)?
Thanks in advance!
A stop-and-go question
OK, thanks to you both!
Can u tell me something about my second question. If I bottle/keg it now, how can I be sure to produce enough Co2? Is the sugar I will add enough to do it? I have a Kingkeg, btw.
Or is there any other hint to make sure to have a well carbonited beer from the keg/bottle in a few week?
Thanks a lot!
