Here's a pic of my Brupaks Scammonden Dark, its starting to really taste good so decided to have a proper pint of it. Head retention isn't great but it tastes very good, no Home Brew Taste here.

I found that while it is conditioning nicely that its quite strong and after about half a pint the flavour gets a bit much. Definitely not a session beer, more like a desert beer.

I dunno, I didn't find any problem drinking 5 pints of the stuff. A good brew that I'll be doing again. How long did you boil the hop-bag for?

I followed Daab's method for making brewpak kits and boiled for 10 minutes but I also only made up to 4 gallons and added 200g muscavado sugar as I was trying to come up with something similar to McEwans Champion so I am pretty sure that this tastes nothing like what is should. It does surprisingly taste quite a bit like McEwans Champion though not quite as strong.
