Does anyone have any "recipes" for what they think to be a close approximation to a commercially made beer. but which they have made from a kit and or other ingrediants, ie extra malt extract or any other differant ingrediants. Maybe we could start a special section for these, and if people make them we could have a review test kind of thing. Dons'nt seem to be to many things like this for us kit brewers
I guess the only way to acheive that and not go all grain is to do extract brewing or supplement a bog standard kit with extra hops and speciality steeping grains.gorymorph wrote:Thanks Daab iv'e seen these and a few others. Okay, these aren't kits but there are plenty of extract clone recipes out there. The clone book is a good purchase. Here is a Sierra nevada to get you started. They have many more available online if you poke around their site:
