Hello - Newbie Questions etc!

Post by DaveH » Sat Mar 29, 2008 8:41 am

Hi all!

Long time lurker, first time poster! Have just moved my first ever brew (Milestone IPA on recommendation of your good selves) into a KK for conditioning - used the excellent guide on the site for making up the kit; it's looking good already!

I've got a question about my second brew: I've ordered a Coopers IPA kit and plan to make this up using 1Kg of Spraymalt. I've currently got 1Kg of light spraymalt at home, but i've just ordered some more online - including a pack of 'Hopped Light Spraymalt'. I quite enjoy 'Hoppy' beers, so could i use this 500g pack in addition to 500g of normal light spraymalt to make the kit up? Or is it better just to use 1Kg of light spraymalt?

Any pointers?

Cheers!
Beer:
Primary : -
Conditioning : Cascades Summer Ale, Celtic Stout, Challenger Ale
Bottled: Celtic Stout, Brewery Bitter
Drinking: - Milestone IPA (w/S04)
