Coopers Lager priming sugars

Post by Padjo58 » Wed Apr 09, 2008 10:00 am

Just coming to the end of primary fermentation of 25 litres of Coopers Lager with 1Kg of light spray malt and a lager yeast.

How much priming sugar should I use for secondary fermentation in a Hambledon Bard 5 gallon pressure barrel?

Thanks

Drinking: Colne Valley Bitter
Conditioning: Nowt :(
Fermenting: Coopers Lager

If it's 80gm to a 23 ltr batch I'd expect 87gms?

I would add 90g for a lager.
