I have just made this kit up, the OG is 1.042 and i think that sounds good.

however there is no suggested gravity or alcohol percentage on the tin so i was wondering if anyone knows what that would be?

The wort smells great for this one, i have been looking forward to doing a dark beer ever since i started!

It will probably get down to about 1.010 so should be 4.2%abv
