Please delete this post if it is not appropriate to ask, and I couldn't find a forum for general questions, so as I have appeared on here regularly I thought I'd try you guys.

Are there any good home brew shops online that have affiliate programs? I would like to buy my stuff from a regular source, and if its any good, it would be nice to link to the items on my blog, as well as possibly making a few pence? Mmmm, imagine if the beer I was making worked out to be free too :-)

I think the problem lies in the fact that most affiliate programs give you a fraction of a penny per click, so to even make a quid it takes hundreds of clicks if not more!

I wasn't expecting to make my millions, but affiliate programs normally give 1-10 percent of sales, so it would be possible to perhaps cover blogging costs at least.

That is, if anyone knows any brewing sites that offer affiliate programs. It seems ripe for it ith so many blogs etc but seemingly not :(

What costs are they? You're running on a wordpress domain. Or did you pay someone for your theme?

You could try emailing Stonch or the associates he's got down his sidebar. They'd be more willing if you could give a recent history of your site's traffic.

Thanks anomalous_result,

I am planning on moving away from Wordpress. There are a number of blogs my friends and I wish to start up, as investigations into money making from blogging, as well as just blogging things that interest us, and I was intending to use my beer blog as a dry run with a host company.
Thanks.
