Hmmm Fixby Gold may be stuck at 1016

Gave the Fixby Gold a wee stir today as I think it may have stuck at 1016, what do you think I sould try and get it down too?

Hi, Did you take a reading at the start, if so what was that, and did you use the yeast that came with the kit or a different yeast?

It was 1041 at the start and yeah I used the kit yeast.

well it's only around 3.3% at the moment with 58% attenuation, you need more than that, you may want to look at the fermenting temp, if you have it somewhere too cool it may jump back into action?

Rouse it gently but thoroughly, keep it a bit warmer. It'll get down another 5 points or so eventually.

I'll see what its down to tonight when i get back home (at work just now).

Probably move it into spare room. its warmer.
