Bottling question

Post by pmd2579 » Sat May 24, 2008 6:42 pm

Today i have bottled my wherry and have added a teaspoon of brewing sugar to each bottle, how long do i leave them in warm conditions before placing somewhere cool. It is very cloudy in the bottles, will this clear???
This is my first attempt and things seem to be going ok at the minute?
Any help will be appreciated!!

In the past I've done any of the following ;

1 week warm - 2/3 weeks cold
2 weeks cold - 2 weeks warm
and weeks and weeks warm until putting in the fridge to cool them before drinking.

All work fine for ale styles.

Edit* - Warm being room temp of 18-21

The beer should clear itself after a few weeks.

I usually do 1 week in the warm (18-20C) then 3 weeks in a cooler area like the garage at 12-15C.
