Littlebottler hole size

Hi after a bad case of brewers back last weekend iv'e ordered a littlebottler from H&G. Anyone know the size of the hole that needs to be bored in my youngs f/v?. I know it will prob. have the dimensions on the pack when it arrives,but being a bit eager i want to get the prep done. TIA.

I cant recall the size but they are the same as the standard fermenter taps. I can tell you later when I get home if nobody has answered by then.

thankyou very glad while im on the subject about taps, is there any other taps rather than the drum for the K/K barrels? If memory serves me right i use to have quite a bit bother with them many moons ago.Ive been looking around for a lever type but dont seem to find anything.

sorry to hack this thread but this question may become useful

how low should the tap be placed on the FV?? what i mean is too low and it will suck in the sediment! too high and you end up wasting precious brew liqour

The majority of homebrewers taps are 3/4" bsp (I know of only one exception), so a 26mm hole will suffice.

I got my little bottler today.

It will also fit into the fatter of the two common tubing sizes that fits around taps.

Sorry, I'm crap with measurements.

So you could probably do standard tap, short link, little bottler.
