Old Homewrecker, slow ferment
My second homebrew. A week ago today i put the kit into the fermenter added the yeast as normal. It was all going well. I noticed three days ago there wasn't much froth/bubbles. I checked the gravity today, it was 1016. The instructions say bottle/barrell at 1009. Stirred up the mix and increased the temp to 20 deg c. Any one had this before or any tips?? 7 days in the fermenter now, seems a long time. It smells lovely though......
