Water Treatment

Post by Stringy Bob » Fri Jun 20, 2008 1:28 pm

Looking to make my 1st kit at the weekend - Nelson Revenge. Just wondering if i need to worry about treating the water in any way as I was just planning on using it straight from the tap

I would treat the water with a campden tablet to remove chlorine.

Ok - at what part of the process do i add the tablet - or do I need to prepare the water separately prior to starting the kit?

crush it before you put it in as it will dissolve more easily.
