Cooper Lager Kit - Flat!

Post by mattamyg » Fri Jun 27, 2008 11:28 am

Hi

I did my first ever kit a couple of weeks ago now, its been in the bottles 5 days, they are the 500ml Pet bottles, i used the priming sugar 'lollies' that came with kit, like dextrose sugar lumps I think. Kits said 2 in each bottle, so thats what I did.

Anyway, i could not resist trying a bottle last night, it looked and tasted like lager but was rather flat. It was pretty clear, could have been a bit clearer....

Will this improve with age or is it all doomed.......?

Thanks

Matt

I'd say give it more time, it's only been 5 days! it will get clearer aswell and the taste will improve!

this might not be what you want to hear but for what it's worth....

I'm sat here catching up on the forum drinking a glass of lager that i started brewing in early Dec. Been drinking the batch over the last couple of months and it's nearly all gone but the point is it took ages to come into condition and patience definately pays.

Dave.
