I've been toying with the idea of home brewing for a while, and just about have the go-ahead to take over a corner of my girlfriend's kitchen to do it in.
Problem is... I'm only at her house Friday evening to first thing Monday; the rest of the time, I stay closer to work. So, the question is, how much work do you need to put in while the stuff is fermenting?
Can I just leave it to its own devices until I get there on the Friday evening, or will bad things happen if I neglect it? If anything does need to be done, can I safely leave it to my girlfriend, a woman whose skills in anything food or drink related stop short of poaching an egg?
Weekend only brewing?
