Wherry

Just finished another batch of Woodfordes Wherry, the first one and this one despite being left for a while seems fairly cloudy (tastes great though). Is this normal for this kit?

Seems pretty common to be very slow to clear and stuck ferments are also common  . Use the search button and type 'cloudy wherry' there are quite a few threads mentioning this.

Hope this helps

I've done 2 wherrys so far and they have been crystal at 2 weeks after bottling. When I chill them they haze up though.

My Wherry had an excellent taste but I couldn't get it clear for love nor money in my Keg, it was however clear as h2o in the 5 bottles I took off and primed.

Interestingly, I drew a pint off last night & it was deffo clearer than thos before, so I suspect, it will clear in time or be it, you'll need to leave it for 4 or so weeks.

Mine didn't stick, I did however keep the temp constant (heater & cooler via ATC800) & used Safe04 yeast.

Darre.
