bottle or cornie keg

i just fermented and brewed muntons gold beer in 2 identicle bucket same everything apart from ones in a cornie keg and the other in bottles left for 4 weeks both the same and for once the bottles taste better than the cornie

can any one tell me why been brewing a long time and its the first time i have used bottles only ever had me brews in a cornie

My questions would be:
1. Were they stored at the same temperature?
2. What did you do (if anything) about priming?

stored next to each other in my office

primed by a little pear drop forgotten name of them
