creamy top

spray malt can be used but is a bugger to deal with and really not worth it for that small an amount just use sugar, try some of the natural cane ones like muscadova (sp?) to see what they are like taste wise

Bought some "Creamy top" from Hop & Grape recently but also notice Brupaks also sell something similar. Also, youngs sell a yeast vit, that also has head retention properties.

You can use spray malt (DME) as a direct alternative to sugar & it's what I use to prime (if I'm not for carbonating).

If you're going to add it the Corny directly, then it may be an idea to use boiling water, add the DME, dissolve & then blitz it back to the boil (in the microwave), then let it cool & then add it the Corny. Then fill from, the FV as normal.

Darren.
