Almondbury Old - gilded

Just made up my Brupacks Almondbury Old Ale. Need something quick as stocks are running very low indeed, and wont get to an AG for a couple of weeks yet.

I made up the kit as per instructions (choosing a brief steep for the teabag, rather than the boiling method). And then made up a further bag with 150g crystal, 30g chocolate, and about 20g challenger pellets. I steeped this for about 30 mins and then removed the bag and added 150g golden syrup. I then boiled this until about 40% of original volume, and it had started to bubble to point of boil over as the gloopyness increased.

God knows what it will be like - different, but smells good, tastes good (though obviously a lot more bitter than it will be).

Whacked in some windsor, job done. Going to corny this one for sure, my revisit of bottling for my Bourbon ABA has reminded me what a fun job it is (not)....

Fingers crossed

Did you just add this reduction to the FV?
