Hi all, After a few years off from brewing my own beer I have started brewing a few batches of wine and I have just done a Geordie Scottish Export brew, It has been in my pressure barrell for a week and I could not resist trying a pint or four

After the 1st couple of mouthfuls I remembered why I went from kit brewing to AG

I dont know what it is but once you have tasted an AG beer and then going back to kit brewing, it just dont taste the same

. But I wanted to brew 40 pints in a hurry so I went for the Geordie Scottish Export kit, and after 4 pints and (considering its a kit) it has turned out okay, it is crystal clear after just 1 week in the barrel and the head stays until the bottom of the glass. It will probably get better if I can manage to leave it to mature for a few weeks (NOT

) Its the usual case of not enough beer brewing/conditioning to allow new beers too mature. Going to start AG when I get my Mashtun and boiler sorted.
Just to clarify that Geordie Scottish Export Kit is not a bad kit.
Cheers
