I'm new to all this but a bit over enthusiastic, so i've already used 4 different online shops.

Easybrew. Sadly I hadn't found this forum beforehand and my first purchase was from this lot. 4 weeks on I am still waiting and being ignored by someone called Annette. You live and learn (fortunately that order was only for a smallish amount) and I am going to unleash the internet hounds on them shortly if I don't get some satisfaction

Art of Brewing has definitely been the fastest so far. No problems with two orders from them and arrived both times within two or three days of order.

Hop and Grape - Well I am expecting a delivery today and if it arrives it will take the speediest delivery title from Art of Brewing as I only ordered the stuff yesterday. I also received a nice call from one of the staff to clarify my order and delivery address. So they are going to get used again.

Anyway that's my first experiences of online hbs's.

Hallow Marts!
Welcome to the circus.
In my short time back into this I've managed to use a few, including Art of Brewing, and it's still Leyland in front. Recently I've used Edina:

I'm thinking of giving Brewmart a go next month . . .

Fair enough to point out, but i've just stuck to facts. (Except for the internet hounds bit...I think they might be make believe, or metaphorical or something. Anyway I don't think imaginary things can sue, from a legal pov)

I have used Hop Shop UK and Hop and Grape.

Good service and prices from both.

Hop & Grape for me, they may not be the cheapest on the .net but they do hold good stocking levels, delivery in 3 to 5 days (unless you pay express shipping) + importantly, have excellent customer service i.e they'll call you directly if there's a problem.

Locally, I use Harris Filters in Lower Gornal, Dudley. They're famous for their wine filters, BeerBrite etc but also have an excellent selection of beer kits (all the major ones + a selection of their own), grain, hops etc etc. If you get the right lady serving, they throw in a packet of BeerBrite with every kit you buy
