Good books for beginners?

Can anyone recommend good books for beginners, preferably ones that cover kit, extract, partial mash & grain brewing in one volume. I need something idiot proof to help me get started, but theres so many different books that I'm getting confused.

hi, have a look on youtube under homebrew. key in craigtube. this guy gives you easy steps to home brewing for beginers and what kit to buy.

I wandered into waterstones to have a look at what books were available and none to suprisingly the people that do the "(Topic) For dummies" have made a book on it, "Home Brew for dummies"

Im not suggesting ofc that you are a dummy but i have used these books in the past for other things and they do tend to be quite good and clearly explained. It was about £13 in waterstones but ive seen it cheaper online for about £7 or so.

Cheers
