any suggestions for extra hop additions to my single can kit muntons nut brown, also not sure if this would turn out better with 1kg spraymalt or beer enhancer?????

I tend to go with 100% spraymalt, or near 100%, for ales. However, most Newcastle Brown recipes seem to advocate some sugar or flaked maize to lighten the brew... Dave Line's recipe says 500g of soft dark brown sugar, so 1Kg BKE might work out okay.

As for hops, Kent Goldings or something similar perhaps? I'd be looking to emulate the late additions to the all-grain version, and there doesn't seem to be a large late hop addition , so I would go easy if adding any at all.
