folks, for my 5th brew i got a finlandia cider kit, the hb shop didn`t have any brewing sugar so i decided to use t&l.
when i got to the shop i decided to buy caster sugar over granulated. will this make any differance to the brew?
cheers,
willie.

Caster and Granulated are the same stuff only with different sized crystals. Once in solution there's no difference.

Hey Willie

Steve is right, just an aside to that - I made one of the Finlandia Cider kits and it was incredibly tasty but didn't last long when my mates got stuck into it.! :)

One note for when its fermenting - don't worry about odd smells... Mine stank the entire house out with a rotten egg smell - I thought it was a gonner but was re-assured by folks on here and it turned out an absoulute winner!!

I've got one of the Finlandia cider kits on the go at the moment. I made mine up with a tin of golden syrup and 16 litres of apple juice.
