Re: Munton's Montmellick Dublin Stout
Used about half a pint in my beef and onion casserole tonight, came out gorgeous!
I'm going to keg it later and be done with it. I need the FV to get my Christmas Cooper's Lager on in.

Re: Munton's Montmellick Dublin Stout
I have to say I've tried a couple of diferent Munton's Premium kits and I've had no problems. Maybe just beginner's luck? Anyway I've just put some Munton Gold Imperial Stout in the FV this morning (don't hit me in the face Ditch, anywhere but the face
). See how it goes I suppose.

Re: Munton's Montmellick Dublin Stout
Took a reading this morning and it was still 1.012 so I kegged it. Used 80g of Black Treacle to prime and just got on with it.
By my reckoning it works out at exactly 3% ABV. Don't think that's right though, just think that all the fermentables weren't necessarily completely mixed to start with.
Still, give it a week and I'll start drinking it!
I'll let you know how strong I think it really is. Possibly with a live online drinkathon...
