Prize c*ck up! 2 x yeasts... Problem?

Post by Pav » Wed Nov 26, 2008 9:55 pm

So having been back on the brewing scene for all of 8 weeks I decided tonight to do two brews at the same time. It was like watching Picasso paint :) .... right up until I got confused (I was drinking previous brew at time) and put the 2nd lot of yeast into the first brew that had already had its yeast =D> #-o

Good news was that I had a spare yeast in the bag for the brew that was missing out! Didn't bother to rehydrate and just sprinkled it on top as by then I was feeling a prize prat.

SO... 2 yeasts in 1 brew. I 've no idea if they are the same kind. It was a brupak and I added an extra yeast from a Youngs cheapie tin kit. I am guessing I am ok, but would like to sleep easy.

Can you see any problems in my drunken error?

It will probably be just fine. You may even discover a killer new yeast hybrid ;p
