Brewbuddy Cider FG Problem

I'm brewing the 5% version of the cider. The instructions say bottle it when a reading of 998 is achieved. Its been in the bin for 8 days and for the last 2 days i've had a reading if 1006. Is it ready for bottling. Is the 998 the required reading for the 7% version?
New to brewing all answears gratefully accepted.

I recently did one of these and it took forever to get down to below 1.000. I would give it a few more days and if it still doesn't drop then bottle. You might give it a gentle stir.
