Hello all,
I am making my first ever homebrew and we have a cider kit. We have followed all the instruction in the kit and after three days there has not been a single bubble in the water lock. The make of the kit in Finlandia cider as i live in Finland but we are really worried that nothing is going on!
It is being stored in our Sauna and the temperature is a constant 25C.
Does anyone have any solutions as where we might have gone wrong?
Also, i have read a lot of the posts here and this looks like a fun place to be.
Please help!

Cider kit. Nothing happening!
Re: Cider kit. Nothing happening!
I dont know about cider kits but real cider shouldn't be fermented at that high a temperature.
Suggest you move it to a cooler place, give it a stir, and if nothing happens in 3 days repitch it with new yeast.

To re-pitch yeast is just a technical term for putting another yeast in the cider.
Perhaps you've had no bubbles because gas is escaping elsewhere?
Perhaps check the gravity with a hydrometer (sanitised of course) to see whether it has moved and gas has just escaped elsewhere.
