my coopers european lager is getting near to completing fermentation and ive been brewing this one at around 14 degrees.
how can i calculate an accurate fg at that temp? or do i draw off a sample and warm it up first?

any thoughts?

OK, what temperature is your hydrometer good for? It should say in small writing somewhere on the scale bit. Mine is quite old, and is calibrated for 60 F, or 15.5 C. Modern ones are usually calibrated for 20 C or 68 F.

hi edit

sorry been away over the weekend.
your question made me check my hydro and i found the origional packaging [amazing].
from what i can gather it basically says allow 0.001 sg points per 5 degrees temp variation. does that sound about right?
if so its not enough for me to worry about really. :D
