Coopers /Wherry experiment

I put a Wherry on yesterday and instead of the yeast provided I threw in a pack from Coopers stout and a teaspoon wilko yeast nutrient.Its got a lovely froth on this morning. :D .Last time I did this one I used saf 04 and it still only got to 1.018.[it was very nice though] Starting gravity was 1.042 made up to 22ltr.Just have to wait and see now.Ill keep you all informed

Well folks just took a reading on the Wherry 1.012 =D> Still little activity so may come down lower.I knew Coopers yeast could do it :D Im not using heat trays or belts it just sat in the back room on a foam mat near the rad.Just need some saf 04 for me stout now :mrgreen:
