Geordie Yorkshire bitter help

Post by stee41 » Sat Jul 11, 2009 12:49 am

I managed to get 3 tins of this from morrisons for £11.70, what a bargain, so...... can anyone tell me what to add to this beer to improve the brew (not that its not good already!) ie, sugar types, DME, or anything else, quantities would also help guys
cheers all

Just go for 1kg of Light Dry Spray Malt, forget the sugar.
You could also make a 'Hop Tea' with maybe some Fuggles of Goldings hops... Just steep a few grams in a litre of boiling water for 15-20mins, strain through a sanitised sieve and add it to your fermenter with the kit when you are mixing it up. :)
You might like to try the 'beer kits' part of the forum too ;)
