Medium Spray Malt in a lager

Post by Big Al » Thu Jul 16, 2009 8:11 pm

I may have accidentally used a medium spray malt in my coopers lager instead of a light spray malt.
The reason I think this as stated in a previous post, my coopers lager is darker then I would normally expect.

If I have what impact is this likely to have on taste?

It'll just be darker than it should be. It'll still taste vile like all lager does.
Best wishes

It'll be fine. I've used medium on Coopers lager and it was the best lager I've made.

Cheers for the updates, hopefully this one will be my best coopers yet :-D might have to test one tomorrow night just to be sure.

In regards to Lager tasting Vile, I dont happen to think so :D It is my prefered drink of choice but I think that is mainly due to having drank it for so long.
I do however enjoy most alcoholic drinks, Ale, Bitter, Stout & cider. Occasionaly I like spirits but only very occasionally.
