Recommended Kits?

Re: Recommended Kits?
If you like a dark beer my fave so far has to be Coopers Stout
If you like a lighter beer my fave so far is York Stonewall
Take your pick, I am looking to pick up a Admirals Reserve Kit from the Brewery Shop next week (although I know it is brewed in Suffolk and Muntons)
I also agree with a couple of posters that recommend spraymalt instead of table, however, feel that it is best to follow the instructions until you get some practice in.
Whatever you decide, have fun

Re: Recommended Kits?
I'm very impressed with the Brupack's Colne Valley Bitter that I'm currently drinking. As good as anything that I've brewed.

There's also a gift shop selling York Brewery stuff at the front of The Yorkshire Terrier Inn at 10 Stonegate York.

Re: Recommended Kits?
I'm only on my eighth brew, but other than the ubiquitous (and scarily suppable) Wherry, my best have been Brupaks Fixby Gold (with added 500g hopped spraymalt and bottled - very very good) and Coopers Dark Ale. both excellent brews!
