Hi all this is my first post i am a newbie and having inherited three king kegs a number of demi johns, fermenting buckets and other related brewing items i thought i would give it a go.i tried a cider kit earlier in the year and put it in the best of the king kegs when i gassed it to draw off it had lots of sediment in it so gave up on the barreling bit, and i have decided to do a bitter/ale in bottles i have saved all my old ale bottles and had some magners donated by friends, can anyone recommend a good kit that will be similar in streangth and taste to Theakstons Old Peculiar. As a footnote had a go at the Turbo Cider in Demi john just had a couple of bottles of the first batch and its not bad at all given me some encouragement and i have started a apple and pineapple one off. Thanks in advance for any advice. :D

Some recommend this kit as being better than Old Peculier.

I made it three months ago, and have three bottles left :( personally i wouldn't go along with it being better, however it's a very good kit, and is very similar in style.
