Mixing Spraymalts

I feel a bit naive asking but would adding a 500gram bag each of light spraymalt and dark spraymalt to a kit be just the same as adding 1kg of medium? I`m looking to get a slightly `roasted ` flavour which is the best description I can think of.

yep you can mix them - really for colour though, not so much flavour - you need roasted barley, or crystal malts and the like to tweak flavour
