HI

I checked out the coopers website today and they recommend for the stout to top up to 20l, wait till the first flush of joyous yeast banqueting is over then top up to 23l....

Has anyone done this and found success?

 I wouldn't. But, then; Don't Australians drink " Fosters "?

No. My personal advice would be that, if ye going to mess with the plan? 'Less is More', water wise. But then, keep it that way.

All this fuss about 'The Blow' is just a way of telling ye to get a sack of sawdust, a good, stoney concrete floor and a more relaxed attitude

I haven't but a friend has and was pleased with the results - no explosion.

Great idea.... I've only tried squre tubs.... not thought of trying those round flexible ones.

I like the idea of the FV in sawdust in a garden trug... got the concrete floor, well a wooden one in me shed near the trug... off to the sawdust shop in the morning :)
