Re: York Brewery kits
I have done both of those kits myself a few years ago, iirc they were both top notch.
Re: York Brewery kits
Thanks mate. did you use the supplied yeast ? Apart from coopers I tend to ditch the packet supplied and use S04 or Nottinham etc but if theirs is ok will stick with it.

Re: York Brewery kits
Yeah, it was fine & I did not suffer from the dreaded "stuck ferment" which some other 3kg kits seem to suffer from.
Re: York Brewery kits
I made both kits, which I obtained from Hop & Grape, about 6 months ago and I used all ingredients as supplied including the yeast and they are first class and probably two of the best brews that I've done.
Highly recommended.

Correct, although no reference to the Stowmarket address on the packaging.KevP wrote:Bear in mind they are still produced by Muntons though...
If Muntons kits were as bad as some people suggest then they wouldn't stay in business.
I've never had a problem with them.

Not trying to suggest anything Lilly, you know me, just ensuring that the op is aware of the kits origins.
In fact I am going to try one of their kits to stock up for the winter
