is ther any way as iv by accident bought a pach 500g of crushed lager malt could i boil this for 30 mins and add the liquid to a kit lager
or is it only usefull for ag and exctract

from my reading on extract/ag you mash/steep grains at around 70 deg ish for about an hour. As only just started to read up on it not sure what effect it would have adding to the wort of a kit though
