My Wherry took about 3 weeks to get the gravity down to 1014 and that was
after adding more yeast stirring etc etc.
What a pain it was !!!!
Hope it taste bl**dy good when it comes out of my keg

every newbie seems to have the same probs with kegs ,as did i .but i found once you clean off the mould flash and give it touch of the old vassi its ok.i really think the keg makers sould tidy the flash off at the factory it would save us all a lot of wet carpets.my 3 kegs have been great for 12 mounths now. hope all is wet and wicked in the endsladeywadey wrote:well as an update I've just put it in the keg tonight - gravity was 1011 in the end. Just hope the keg performs well - I tested it prior with 23l of water and a shot of c02 and spotted a leak from the tap seal. Vaselined the rubber washer/tightened it up so hopefully it won't leak now the beer is in there. They're hard work these King Kegs aren't they? Bottles next time I think..
